Dr Peter practices what he loves doing best at Glenferrie Dental – replacing missing teeth and creating smiles! When he first embarked on his career as a dentist, he had one mission in mind that continues to drive him today and that is to have his patients smile with the warmth of their hearts.
With over a decade of experience in the field of dentistry, Dr Laird practices the full breadth of sleep dentistry to provide a tailored and personalised approach to ensure his patient’s best experience. Since graduating from the University of Queensland in 2012, Dr Laird has sought leaders in the field of Cosmetic and Implant dentistry with the sole purpose of fulfilling his mission statement. People from all walks of life have a unique story to tell and he believes it is best told with their best smile.
Dr Laird is a postgraduate of the Mini-Residency in Prosthodontics – which is a yearlong program taught by the highly regarded Dr Tony Rotondo and Dr Michael Mandikos. This inspired his passion for Cosmetic and further led him on a journey to learn from the international legends of restorative dentistry Dr Jason Smithson (U.K) and Dr Didier Dietschi (Switzerland).
He is a graduate of the Master Clinician Program in Implant Dentistry from the Loma Linda University – School of Dentistry in California, USA. Dr Laird places hundreds of implants each year and has a special focus in full-arch implants and full mouth reconstructions.
Outside of dentistry, Dr Laird enjoys sunsets (and taking photos of sunsets), hiking and spending time with family and friends.

Dr Paul obtained his Dentistry degree from Griffith University in Queensland, after having completed his Pharmacy degree. He moved to Perth for several years before finding his way back to his beautiful hometown of Melbourne.
He has a strong interest towards restorative and cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, orthodontics and oral surgery including wisdom teeth removal. He routinely provides a lot of these treatments under inhouse sedation which provides a relaxed and pain-free experience for patients.
Most recently, Paul has completed his fellowship (2019) and is an active member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) as well as being a member of the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry (ASID). He is currently undertaking a PGCert (Dent Imp) from Cambridge Academy of Dental Implantology (UK, 2020/21). Paul continually undertakes the latest further training both in Australia and internationally to provide the most up to date care and treatment possible.
Outside of his dental endeavours, Paul is a thrill-seeker, enjoying downhill mountain biking across Victoria. In winter, he trades his bike for a snowboard, exploring the Victorian alps. Recently, he welcomed his baby daughter, Olivia, into the world.
